Why I love Photography

Photography can mean many different things to many different people. To me photography is so much more than just a picture. It brings life to the mind. I love that there's so much diversity in to what a photo can consist of. A simple portrait, a landscape of a hill looking at the sunset, or something crazy you just made up in your mind from Photoshop. I am so grateful I am growing up in such a technological world. Everyday there is something new to learn or to see. I am grateful that I have eyes that see such wonderful things that normally people would just pass by. I love that the photos I have taken can bring joy to so many people, weather it's of their own family or of my own. When it comes all down to it, what you have left over the years are going to be those photographs. Since living in such a high tech world, everything gets uploaded to the internet. Which can therefore get lost. I myself have had a few computers crash with tons of photos I will never get back because I failed to print them.
Do you ever go through your family photos and just reminisce back to the good ole days? if not, then you are missing out on some good times. I used to think oh photography is just a hobby, but as I've grown I've realized it's more than that. I consider myself an artist. I am very emotional, not in a bad way. Just in a I love everyone kind of way. Emotions, wether it be happiness, pain, sadness, anger.. they have all come in to play as to how my photos have evolved over the years, and will continue to do so. That's just life, and I'm trying to make the best of it while documenting it the best I can. Hell I'm only (fixing to be 23) Just wait for what's in store 10-20 years down the line. Oh, the places I'll see and the places I'll go.
