Today was quite the day. I went to a place called Meow Wolf with Daniel. It is a giant art museum in Denver, Colorado. The place is about 4 stories tall, and surrounded inside with sculptures and crazy moveable art beyond the eye can see. We did get lost a few times going through the maze like arena. It had so many cool different types of art; such as furry wall sculptures, 3 eyes blue crazy alien looking thing made out of clay. Knitted eyeballs and intestines hanging from the ceiling. All while all the lettering was alien font, but still there were secrets and different doorways you could discover while looking at them. Holes in the wall had geodes and 360 mirrors inside to luminate the rocks and other tiny art projects they had hidden away. I crawled in one hole that had music playing inside with lights and tiny alien figures tucked away in the blue rock formations. A castle was next on the list, it was made of glass and plastic. The rainbow murals on the walls were so pretty. You could spin a giant wheel inside to make the shadows go to different walls around the dark room. I could only imagine what it took to create those giant pieces for the glass. Each one had a picture or character on it. Though confusing to navigate around, the museum had some great showcases. Weather it be of lights and sound, or sculpted with clay and paper machete. Overall, this experience was quite magical to say the least. I hope to be able to visit the other Meow Wolf buildings. There's one in Las Vegas, and Texas I believe.
